在小学英语课本中涉及到了序数词的教学内容。就小学生的接受能力来说，在刚刚掌握了基数词的基础上对他们讲词性转换的语法知识肯定是行不通的。怎样才能让学生快捷准确地掌握基数词到序数词的转换呢？我尝试了以下做法：首先让学生从first到twentieth这20个序数词中找规律。一般是在基数词后加th表示序数，例如four表示为fourth。但还有几种特殊情况：1.first、second、third3个单词与其它序数词不一样。2.eight需要去掉t；nine则需要去掉e，再加上th表示它们的序数。3.以ve结尾的基数词，如five、twelve则用f代替ve后，再加th表示序数。4.20以上的十位整数构成法是把基数词词尾的ty变成tie再加th。5.几十几 ...英语序数词三注意 一、注意掌握基本序数词 1st—19th是基本序数词，根据词形及其与基数词的关系，可分为三类来记忆。 1.特殊类： 这类词共3个：first，second和third，它们与 one，two，three差别特别明显，应特别记忆。 2.大众类： 这类词外形极有规律：在相应的基数词尾直接加“th”，共11个：fourth，sixth，seventh， tenth，eleventh，thirteenth，fourteenth，fifteenth，sixteenth，seventeenth，eighteenth，nineteenth。 3.微变类： 这类词从外形上与大众类接近，也是以th结尾，但词中字母有变异、省略现象。因此在书写这类词时易出现错误。它们是fifth， eighth，ninth和twelfth共四个。其微变过程如下：}
